CODED BIAS

Branding and poster design for the documentary film CODED BIAS directed by Shalini Kantayya. The documentary explores the consequences of MIT researcher Joy Buolamwini’s surprising discovery that facial recognition doesn’t see dark-skinned faces accurately. 

The film highlights the multiple consequences and injustices around the world from governments and companies which use this technology and follows the journey of Buolamwini´s to push for the first-ever legislation in the U.S. against bias in the algorithms that impact us all.

The film now is available on Netflix.
